The weather held and the Street
Party was a huge success. Fun
for all the family with an
Exhibition in the Village Hall,
Duck Race, Tug-of-War, Falcon
Display, Morris Dancing and
music. How better to spend a
Bank Holiday Monday?
The Village
Budleigh Salterton
& Jurassic Coast
The town and coast is an easy two miles from East
Budleigh. If you are staying in the village, frequent buses
take you there and there are a most eclectic range of
private shops and plenty of good places to eat or have a
cup of coffee. Take your walking shoes and the coast path
is yours to explore.
East Budleigh is an ideal centre from which to tour Devon. Just two miles from
the Jurassic Coast, with sandy beaches at nearby Sidmouth and Exmouth and
the dignified resort of Budleigh Salterton nearby. Historic Hayes Barton is a
short walk from the village and probably the most interesting gardens in all of
Devon Bicton Park, are close at hand.
